IIT Alumni Association carries out activities to achieve its objectives. The Association organizes social and cultural events, technical seminars, publishes a newsletter etc. Members of the Association meet four to five times a year – at the Annual Reunion Dinner in April or May, a family picnic in the summer, a charity lunch in November and technical seminars whenever possible. We have also been hosts to visiting professors from IIT Alma maters and have contributed generously to their fund raising efforts.

The Board of Directors of the Association meets often to organize various events. Members of the Board take turns to host the meetings at their residence. The meetings are either preceded or followed by a potluck lunch with the families present. The potluck lunch is a fun time and any member of the Association is welcome to attend it. If you wish to join any of the Board Meeting's potluck lunch, just let one of the members know and you will be informed about the venue and the date/time of the next meeting.
